Accountabilities:
- Lead the coordination, planning, and execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, monthly forecast LE, and long-term strategic planning
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to influence decision making by providing actionable insights that drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Own financial support of cost center expenses (SG&A) ensuring owners are aligned to financial targets.
- Analyze monthly results vs. plan, identify key drivers, and articulate risks and opportunities to leadership
- Prepare high-quality management reporting and analysis, translating financial data into clear recommendations
- Monitor and interpret key business performance metrics and KPIs
- Champion the continuous improvement of reporting, processes, business analytics, and financial modeling
- Support training and user adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning
- Prepare executive ready presentations and ad-hoc financial analysis to support the CFO and senior leadership team
Experience & Skillset:
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA designation (or in progress)
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within a consumer-packaged goods or similar fast-paced environment
- Confidence to partner, interact, and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
- Proactive and able to manage change in an extremely fast paced, energetic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into clear financial insights
- Experience with planning and reporting tools to support FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting (Workday Adaptive Planning experience an asset)
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise with proficiency with PowerPoint
