Job Title: Account Manager, Canada
Location: Oakville ON- Hybrid (3 days in office)

Compensation: $65K+ (CDN)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and execution of customer-specific sales strategies to deliver on revenue and profit targets.
  • Track and monitor sales progress and revenue goals within an established account base.
  • Utilize sales metrics, shopper insights, and trend data to maximize market share and drive profitable growth.
  • Develop and execute national promotions to deliver volume objectives and identify new business opportunities.
  • Create, monitor, and update volume forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze P&L metrics and develop strategic business plans for sustained account growth.
  • Adapt to changing market conditions and recommend actions to address emerging opportunities.
  • Manage Net Ships and POS targets, ensuring achievement of budget and performance goals.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful business reviews, presentations, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to broker representation.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Project Management to ensure planning timelines and deliverables are achieved for special projects.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop innovative packaging, promotions, and execute successful product launches.
  • Communicate key market and customer insights to Senior Management, including POS data, distribution trends, competitive activity, and in-store performance.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to resolve accounts receivable/payable issues.
  • Drive sell-through and enhance in-store presence of our brands with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure asset management compliance within company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Operations to maintain fill rates and inventory in-stocks.
  • Foster alignment and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including category managers, buyers, replenishment managers, marketing, finance, operations, and customer service teams.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Food Sciences, Business or a related field
  • 2+ years of Direct Selling and/ or Account Management experience
  • Experience working with major retailers is considered an asset
  • Experience in operations, category management, retail merchandising, and/or trade marketing
  • Strong sales and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive for results
  • Proactive and able to continuously manage change in a fast paced work environment
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Occasional travel to the USA may be required
