Accountabilities:
- Responsible for all day-to-day cash management responsibilities
- Responsible for liaising with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to prepare and report on short term and mid-term cash flow forecasts
- Work closely with internal teams to set funding for weekly payment runs
- Prepare all bank covenant forecasts and reporting
- Work with Accounts Payable to prepare and execute payments (ACH, EFT, Wire, transfers, etc.)
- Monitor, report on and optimize various treasury related expenses including interest, bank charges, merchant fees, etc.
- Work with Controller and Finance management team to explore, develop and execute an interest and foreign exchange hedging program
- Special ad-hoc projects as required
Experience & Skillset:
- CPA (CA, CGA or CMA) designation or working towards
- 4+ years of Treasury and/or Accounting experience preferably from a mid-size to large company
- Experience dealing with multi-entity and multi-currency environment
- Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Experience working with a large ERP system is required
- Proactive and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced, energetic work environment
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Dynamics 365 considered an asset
