Accountabilities:
- Monitor and track finished product samples which are sent to third party labs for active component and microbiological testing.
- Upon receipt of CofAs and lab results for each product/batch – review all results to determine that specifications are met; contact appropriate person(s) to resolve any deviations or issues
- Provide notification to Management for any product/batch that does not meet specifications and generate Deviations (DR’s) where required.
- Follow up on Deviation CAPAs where necessary and ensure they are closed in appropriate time frame.
- Communicate RELEASE, REWORK, RETURN TO VENDOR or SCRAP of finished product SKUs status to Iovate distribution center and other required personnel.
- Assess status of products in electronic inventory system (ERP) to ensure product SKUs/batches are released.
- Request products that require further evaluations before release from Iovate distribution center, i.e. for ID Testing of Canadian SKU’s or for further testing of active component and/or microbiological testing
- Ensure required products are ID tested and that results are documented; communicate deviations to required personnel and/or co-mans.
- Perform inspection on Canadian/EU products (powders, pills, liquids etc) as required.
- Perform receiving and log all the received products in the release log.
- Update or generate Standard Operating Procedures as required
- Review test requirements
- Review batch records
- Collect finished product specifications on the Cubiscan
- Other related duties as assigned.
Core Competencies:
- Post-Secondary Education in related field
- Up to 2 years of related experience preferably within a consumer-packaged goods environment
- Proactive and able to continuously manage change in an extremely fast paced, energetic work environment.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
